Well this weekend I finally got something done in my yard! There was nothing before so anything is an improvement! I am not posting everything I did because I still have a few more things to plant tonight, so I will only post the parts that are pretty much done (except for the bark and edging.
Tonight I am hoping to get the rest of the stuff in the front planted and then this weekend we want to work on getting the edging in. I am not sure about if we should try to do the bark yet because we still have to do the whole other side of the house, which we will need a lot more bark for, so we may wait for that.
Oh! I should add, I know those Hostas are going to get way big, but I didn't want to only put a couple in, and have a big bare area, so when they get bigger I will take them out as I need to.
And how cool are those Heuchera on the bottom left of the last picture, you can't tell from the picture, but they are really cool, I think they will show better when I get some bark in. I should have taken a close up pic of them. Here is a pic I found of it:
I am also thinking about getting a flag pole to go in front of the roses and then planting a few more around it, but I am not sure yet, I don't know how much flag poles cost! I really want one though. We'll see!
