Piggies, piggies, everywhere!

Sorry, it's been a while!

This is what Addie's hair looks like on a typical morning...

TOTAL rat nest! I don't know what she does in bed, but it is not good on the hair! So we started putting pig tails in more often... more on that in a few :)

Addie doesn't like to sit in her high chair much anymore... we need desperately to get her a stool!

We finally let Addie watch some TV, or should I say she is finally interested in watching some TV.... here she is watching Baby Einstein.

We had friends over for the Super Bowl, here is Addie with her buddy Nate. They had some fish crackers in the pot :)

This is Addie tonight. She had no nap today... she was SO tired... this is about a half hour before her bedtime. (she is leaning on the couch)




That means time for bed! I think she conked out before I left the room, and if you know Addie... that NEVER happens!

In other, more sad news, Joel and I lost another baby this week. Because of this, I have now had 3 pregnancies that had something wrong. My doctor is sending me to an OB so we can try to figure out if it is at all related or if we just have bad luck. Hopefully if they are related, there will be an easy solution. Thanks to everyone who already knew and have supported us through prayer in this time. Wish us luck on our continued journey. :)

Shoes, shoes, shoes!

Not a lot of cuteness tonight, because I am tired!

Addie is obsessed with shoes lately! My sister gave us all of my niece's old shoes, so they are all in Addie's closet... EVERY day she hauls some out and wants to walk around in them!

They are huge!

And they fall off ALL the time!

And she can't put them on by herself!

I did have a story I was going to share, but now I can't remember!

Joel said Addie kissed him tonight :( I miss out on everything, her first kiss is Daddy!

I almost forgot! Addie is going to the endocrinologist for her follow up appointment tomorrow, so send us some good thoughts! Hopefully this will be her last appointment there!

*** Endocrinologist update... the appointment was yesterday! They rescheduled it and I still had today as the day! We rescduled for JANUARY! That is the soonest we could get in, so I called and got on the wait list, hopefully we are able to get in sooner...

Addie VS Hamper

Addie really likes playing with the hamper, she likes to take all the clothes out, and sometimes put them in her crib, and always crawl in the hamper.

Tonight she crawled in and tried to stand up... of course I didn't have the camera! So, I went and grabbed it... after a while, Addie gave us this gem of a video:

We got news that Addie's GI appointment at DeVos is going to be in October, total bummer that it is so far away. Once I get the paperwork I am going to call and get on a cancel list, usually then we can get in, in a week or two. She spit up/threw up 4 times tonight... I feel so bad for her, even though it doesn't seem to bother her.

I have decided to post a few things about Harvey's development each week:
I was 6 weeks pregnant on Monday, so at 6 weeks:

• The intestines and pancreas are already formed and growing


• The baby's heart has begun to beat!


• He or she is about a half inch long


• He or she has little arm and leg buds


• The nostrils and ears have started to form

On another note, our crib was recalled. I am bummed because I really like it, but also excited to get a new one! I think we are going to get a new one for the baby, and then we will get Addie a new one when we switch her room, otherwise we will have to take it apart and move it... I found one I really like... but I think it is too boyish. What do you think?


I am not sure if I really think it looks boyish, or if I am being swayed by all the boyish bedding on it... Joel knows we are having a boy, so we don't need to worry about that. But I am pretty sure he knew Addie was a boy too, so I am not as confident in his intuition. And we don't find out until probably October, I really don't want to wait that long to get Addie a replacement crib.
