Yay! Yay! Yay!!!!!

We FINALLY got a new garage door! We have been saving for what seems like forever and we finally took the plunge and got the garage door! I took before and after pictures, yes, I am that nerdy... here you go....

I think it looks tons better! Now we just need to get a new door in the kitchen (that goes into the garage) with a window and we will be able to see the driveway from in the house!

And because I strive to put a picture of Addie in every post here you go, not taken today... a couple weeks ago actually, but there IS a point to it. Addie can ALMOST sit on her own now! She can do it for a max of about 30 seconds, and then she either tips or folds completely in half. It it pretty funny, she gets this look on her face, like "what is happening!" it is super cute.

So here is our little sitter, well she isn't really sitting on her own in this picture, it is the best I could do! I will work on getting a good one.

I guess that is all the updating I can do right now, next time I should have lots of good pics, we are going up north this weekend, for our first family vacation!!! We are very excited, and I cleared out the memory on my carmera to make room for all the pictures I am going to take! I cannot wait!

What's my name?

The other day, my sister was trying to get Addie's attention, and was yelling her name. I said that Addie doesn't know her name yet. Then my other sister, who was standing next to me yelled, "Addie" and Addie looked... then they told me I was wrong, and that Addie DID know her name. I said, I don't think so, I bet if you yelled Frog she would look. So my sister yelled, "Frog!" and sure enough Addie looked!! Haha! Mother knows best I guess ;)
I thought it was a cute story, and I wanted to remember it :) I have a little froggie baby.
I wish she would learn her name already though... it probably doesn't help that we call her every other nickname under the sun... I told Joel we have to really start trying to use her name more so she will learn it!

Addie's new hat!

This is kind of a worthless post, I really just want to test out how to post a picture here, so I thought I would do a quick post about Addie's new hat. I just HAD to have it, even though this child probably has more hats at 5 months old than I have had in my lifetime! I didn't buy most of them... that is my justification... and we are going up north next week, so she NEEDED a new hat... right? I think so. I had to have her model it for every person I came into contact with, so here it is! With her new sweater too...

I hate to brag (well, not really) but is she not the cutest kid on the planet! I can't wait until out vacation next week and she will be decked out in all her new cute warm clothes.

New to Blogger

So, I decided to start a blog here... Might be fun? At first I wanted to do it to keep Joel's parents in the loop about the latest happenings of Addie, but, they don't have the internet... but I thought I would go for it anyways! It will help me to remember to read the blogs of friends!
