I had a confirmation ultasound today, and it confirmed the bad news. The ultrasound tech was nice enough to print us some pictures of our little one this time though. Honestly, I am really upset that we didn't get a picture from the first ultrasound, even though the baby was dead, it is still our baby. So here, he or she is:
I hope you can read an ultrasound because I didn't feel like making arrows pointing things out.
For those of you who do not know, I am having a d&c tomorrow afternoon, so it will probably be a rough day. Although, it is looking like things are starting earlier than planned and Harvey doesn't want to wait for tomorrow, so it may be a long night. Joel is working tonight, making it even harder. So any prayers would be appreciated, because I am having a very tough time right now.
Today I took the day off of work, it felt good to sleep in and refresh. We decided we didn't want to be cooped up in the house all day, so we took a trip to the zoo. It was Addie's first time so that was exciting! My nephew, Kristopher, also came along. He seemed to be the zoo expert even though he claimed to have not been there "in forever".
Our first animal was the flamingo.... Addie loved them, she didn't want to leave.
The next thing she liked was the penguins, you can't tell from her face, but she LOVED them!
If you look close you can see one swimming by...
She also liked the fish
I don't remember what these crazy animals are... does smelly and ugly help?
For some reason Addie liked them...
She also got to pet some baby goats! She was a little hesitant at first....
We think she liked this black and white one because it reminded her of Elsie.
I think someone wants a kitty.... Not many smiles today, I think she was overwhelmed with all the people and things going on! And it was a little during nap time. And it was HOT out!!!

On another note, I am doing better today, still not great, but better. I am looking forward to Monday when I can talk to the doctor about my options, I know it is the easy way out, but I really just want it to be over. Until then I will wait to see if anything happens.
Thank you for the prayers, they have helped a great deal, and we continue to pray for guidence and strength.
I don't have many words, but wanted to update. We had the ultrasound today, and baby was measuring correct for dates, but had no heartbeat. I knew it when I saw the screen right away. I asked the tech and she couldn't say. After the ultrasound, we sat in the room, knowing what was coming, she came back and gave us the phone, it was my doctor, confirming what I already knew. So, now I wait. I have a doctor's appointment on Monday to talk about it.
Thank you for the thoughts and prayers about the ultrasound, God has a plan, we just don't understand it yet.
Addie had her first doink this weekend... I forgot to take a picture of it! But, this is the aftermath. I was going to put another one in today to take a picture of (because it looked so darn cute) but the rubberband broke! Luckily we got her hair wet and it finally went down!
Addie has finally started RIDING her toys! Before she would sit on them, but wouldn't really go anywhere.... well, she still doesn't go far, but she tries!

Addie had her 15 month well baby appointment today!
She did fab! She got to stand on the adult scale like a big girl and she weighed a whopping 20 lbs 1oz!!! She did have a dirty diaper, so probably a little less, but we won't count that against her! She is now ON the chart on the 10th percentile! She is also 30" tall, which is the 25th percentile. The doctor was astounded with her growth!
For fun, here is her chart:
I don't care what the urologist said, she started gaining when she went on the antibiotics, so I think that had to have been what the problem was, or at least part of it!

I am now 10 weeks pregnant. This is what Harvey probably looks like:
I had my first ob appointment today. We did not get to hear the heartbeat (possibly because my uterus is tipped), which isn't too alarming because we didn't at this time with Addie either. But I am measuring 2-3 weeks behind, which is a concern, to me at least. It is impossible that I am wrong about how far along I am. So tomorrow I have to go get an ultrasound for dates, so I will update tomorrow with the results from that. Other than that the doctor said everything looked good. He said he isn't worried about anything being wrong, it could just be the tipped uterus, but I don't know if he would tell me if he was worried. So, we will see. Prayers would definately be appreciated though because I am really worried about it.
We have decided Addie walks like a raptor. I base this completely on Jurassic Park.... Here are a couple pictures of her walking...
This one is also to show her tongue... I have a video to post also, of her tongue and her raptor walk... 2 birds with one stone!
This is just a bonus picture I guess... Joel messed up her hair in the tub... how many messy hair pictures do I post?

I am 9 weeks pregnant now, here's what's happening this week:
Movement has started (didn't I say that last week?) but I still can't feel it. Although, sometimes I swear I feel something, but I really think it is too early!
Most joints are formed now
Harvey has his or her own fingerprints!
Harvey now enjoys playing with things, mainly fingers and toes.
Harvey is now about .9" and weighs .07 of an oz.
Harvey is no longer an embryo and is now a fetus... but really, who cares, he or she has been a baby all along!
I have been still feeling tired and nauseous, I thought it was getting better, but not so. It isn't that horribly bad though, it could definately be worse!
I have been taking belly pictures... but am not ready to post them here yet! Maybe when I am less fat looking, and more pregnant looking!
Also, I have my first doctor's appointment on Monday! I am SO excited, counting down the days! I say 4 more days, but downer Joel says 5, whatever, I count down the way I want! Anyways, praying we will be able to hear the heartbeat, when I was 10 weeks along with Addie we were not able to hear it, there is only a 50% chance, so cross your fingers!

Here is the video... I know everyone has been just waiting!
Oh! I have some sock animal news! Julie and I recently went to a local store, Hopscotch (http://www.hopscotchstore.com/), to show them our sock animals, and they LOVED them! We didn't expect it, but they bought several on the spot! And they want more! We are so excited about it, and will also be very busy!
I actually took these pictures last week, and forgot to post them. Addie has letters that she plays with in the tub, they stick to the walls... fun! They stick to Addie as well! Yes, we are that dorky.
Addie's favorite thing lately is to crawl under the exersaucer... she likes to throw her balls under there and go in a get them.
Sometimes she will sit under it and play, but by the time I got out the camera tonight, she was through with it!
Addie has also been obsesses with sticking out her tongue lately. My mom thinks she is trying to copy Elsie... I don't know, but she looks like a lizard because her little tongue is so long and skinny! I will try to post a picture of that next time.
