Happy Halloween everyone! My mom got a couple hats for the puppies:
Presley as a warlock (even though I think it is for a witch):
Elsie as a pumpkin (she doesn't sit as well for pictures):
The only way she keeps it on is if she can chew the strings, not very lady like!:
I have been putting it around her neck, usually she will ignore it, not as cute as on her head, but still cute!
Okay. On to the doctor's appointment yesterday. Here is a bit of advice, if you know you have to pee in a cup, don't go to the bathroom before you go, no matter how much you think you will be able to go when you get there! I went before we left, thinking it wouldn't be a problem, I ALWAYS have to pee. Well we get there, and she said I have to get the "midstream" pee in the cup, well, I totally misjudged when midstream was! I felt so dumb coming out saying I didn't think I peed enough in the cup!
Then we went to hear the heartbeat, which I was SO nervous about, it was so disappointing last time when we didn't get to hear it. The doctor said that I lost a pound, and asked me if I "felt" pregnant, which I really don't, I just feel tired! Then he got the doppler out and couldn't find anything because he said it was too staticy, so he got a different one, and it still seemed to take a long time, I was having a private coronary! Then he finally found it, it wasn't as fast as I expected, but he said that is sounded strong, so that is good news. Then I started nervous laughing because I was so happy, which made him lose the heartbeat, and then he said I laughed the baby into a different position, so he had to find it again, and I couldn't stop laughing, I felt like such a moron!
The doctor also said I haven't "popped" yet, I thought I wasn't supposed to be showing yet though! He said I may not show until Thanksgiving or maybe even 20 weeks! I kinda hope it doesn't take that long! I know I will regret that when I look like a whale, but still, I would like to show by Christmas! Speaking of Christmas, we scheduled our big ultrasound, it will be December 18, so I am excited we will know by Christmas if it is a boy or girl, but a little nervous because it is 19 weeks and I hope we will be able to tell!
Joel and I went to look at a car last night, and they sold if before we got there! We have the worst luck! We drove a hour to Ionia, for nothing! I may take this afternoon off to go look for something, it is like the only time we have for like 2 weeks.
Okay, I have one more bonus pic because it is so cute...
Elsie loves to chew on ice, so sometimes we will put it in her water bowl, and this is what we get:
Hope everyone has a great day!
