New Elsie and Belly pics

I will try to keep this short since I feel like I have way too many entries lately!

I just wanted to quick post a pic of the new Elsie with her haircut. I tried to get a picture standing, but she rarely stands still, so I did one laying down. I am still trying to get used to it, I think she looks a little funny.

And here are my 28 weeks belly pics. I think I just look fat with my shirt down though. I should do a picture with an actual regular maternity shirt on, it is less fat looking and more pregnant looking.

Is it me or does my belly look like twice as big with my shirt up? Weird...

Hope everyone is having a great week, and looking forward to a great weekend! I can't wait for the weekend, Joel has Saturday off so we are doing something fun, I really feel like I need that!

I may be the stupidest person ever...

So, this weekend my mom came over to help paint the baby's room. I had to run out because we didn't have a paint tray. Well, when I was gone my mom decided to clean up, which is great, I have been too tired lately to do it. Well, I get home and she tells me that my vacuum belt is broken! My stupidity comes from the fact that my vacuum has been not working good for MONTHS! I just thought it was a crappy vacuum and wouldn't pick up pet hair, I didn't even think to look and see if something was wrong with it. I had been going over my carpet on my hands and knees with Elsie's brush, brushing the whole floor to pick up the pet hair. I bought a new belt last night and it is like I have a whole new vacuum! It works great! I am so embarassed that I went so long without even thinking of checking it to see if something was wrong. Oh well, I guess it was a learning experience.

Speaking of vacuuming though, when I was vacuuming last night I took some pics of Elsie hiding. She is petrified of the vacuum!

And speaking of Elsie... my sister's boyfriend said she was UGLY! I have been feeling bad for her ever since I heard, poor thing! She isn't ugly, how mean! And he thinks Presley is the cutest thing ever, but they look similiar, so I just don't get it. Poor little Elsie is going to have a complex. :(

I hope everyone is having a great week! And I can't wait to see those of you who are coming to the Bible Study, it looks like a good lesson again this week! I just hope Elsie behaves!

I almost forgot! Elsie is getting her second grooming today. I thought since I was having people over and we haven't had time to give her a bath I had better take her in so she isn't stinky, especially with the snow and her getting wet from that a lot. So those of you coming tonight get to see a new Elsie :)

26 Weeks...

I don't really have a ton to report, but I thought I would post the belly pics we did last night, since a few people have asked about them :) So here you go:

I think I look a little goobery in the pics, but you get the idea. What is going on with my hair, it is like all frizzy at the part, I don't know what the deal is! Not the most attractive pics, sorry :( I can't believe I only have 14 more weeks!

Slow week....

Since it has been a little slow on here this week, I thought that I would do a little puppy post. And since Amy stopped by this weekend and I was reminded of when my little puppy was a little puppy, I thought I would reminisce with a couple pictures.

This is one of my favorite pictures, I love it when Elsie tilts her little head like that :) This was a little after we got her and we thought we would put her and Presley in the tub to see what they would do.

Elsie just sitting, then and now. She looks a little scruffy in the now picture, she needs a bath! She is so big now! She loves sitting on our laps when we squat like that :) See she is smiling :)

In non puppy news, I have two doctors appointments today, I have to go to the allergist for my asthma, which I hate doing because every time I get a lecture about how I have to do my inhaler, but I hate it! Isn't there a pill? I guess not. And I have to go to the periodontist to get a new jaw splint, not looking forward to that because those things cost a fortune! Ick! I also think I may be getting another cold, or the first one is coming back. I have been sick for a little over a week, and thought I was getting better, not totally I have still been coughing and stuffy, but I have felt okay. But last night I got a sore throat again, and this morning, so I hope it goes away. I hate being sick.
