Busy, busy, busy!!

We have been pretty busy this week, at least busier than our normal week of doing nothing!

On Monday we went to Chuck E Cheese for a Halloween party with a bunch of friends. We thought it would be fun to dress up the kids and have some fun!

Here is a picture of the whole group, thanks Erin! Addie was pretty crabby to have to sit for the picture...

Addie's favorite part was riding in this car with Chuck E Cheese.

The beads are not a part of her costume, she just LOVES bead necklaces right now!

Addie wandered around most of the time. Her friend Jack found her and gave her a hug
Photobucket

Can you believe Jack is only 4 days older? He is so much taller!
Photobucket

And a kiss
Photobucket

She wanted to get away! I don't think she is ready for boys yet.
Photobucket

Addie liked to look at the prizes behind the glass
Photobucket

When we got home I put the head of the costume on (she wouldn't wear it at Chuck E Cheese)

My little lamby
Photobucket

She wouldn't wear it long at home either! She likes to walk Elsie around on the leash.
Photobucket

Lately she has been climbing on the couch, and pulling a blanket over her, it is super cute.
Photobucket

I think we are going to be retiring that gray outfit... several people called Addie a boy when she wore it :( I think she looks like a girl!

On Wednesday we went with a couple friends to Laptime at the library. I thought it would be nice to take Addie somewhere fun during the day! I thought she would love it because she loves music and books.

Here are Easton the penguin and Avery the ladybug in their costumes
Photobucket

Addie was a cling-on to my leg for the beginning (which is par for the course) then she ventured away....
Photobucket

Addie liked to look in the bins with the books
Photobucket

and the crayons... they were supposed to decorate a bag so we could trick or treat through the library.

Here are Kami and Easton

Easton wanted to eat a crayon
Photobucket

Addie didn't want to color with crayons, or on her bag, so here she is filling out the feedback form.
Photobucket

We tried (emphasis on tried) to get a group picture of the kids.

Avery didn't want to be in the picture! (Addie looks like she didn't want to either!)
Photobucket

I bribed Addie with the fruit snacks we got in our trick or treating through the library, otherwise she would NOT sit!
Photobucket

Oops! Sorry Easton!
Photobucket

I think Addie's expression is hilarious in this one!
Photobucket

They are at least all IN this picture... again, what is Addie doing?
Photobucket

Here I was trying to get her to wear her hat... I put it on, she laughed, then I put it on her.... but she was too quick to take it off

Addie loves babies... especially poking their faces...

In the library they have a big stuffed lion, Addie loved it!

Whene we left the library we saw a lady with a big dog (looked like a german shepherd only way bigger) and Addie ran right up to it to try to pet it!!!!! I think she thought it was stuffed like the lion! The dog went right at her to sniff her face... shockingly she didn't freak out, like she normally does when big dogs come at her. I wanted to take a picture, but I thought the dog owner might thing I was a weirdo... and I can't really argue with that :)

What you've all been waiting for!

I know everyone has been waiting with bated breath for an update!!! Right.... that is what I tell myself.

Here are the pudding pictures I promised last time.

It was about the only happy times last week.
Photobucket

Most of the time it was very subdued pudding eating
Photobucket

Photobucket
She likes to drink her pudding

Finally on Friday things were looking up... all the sores in her mouth were gone, good by Hand, Foot, and Mouth, you won't be missed!!!!!!!!!

Now we are back to our happy little girl!

Here she is with Elsie. They have a bit of a love-hate relationship, Addie loves Elsie, Elsie hates Addie to bother her... this is a rare occurance, Elsie was being nice!
Photobucket

Tonight we had a bath... Addie loves baths.

The obligitory crazy hair picture.
Photobucket

What a cutie, who would have thought this is the same little girl as the monster of last week?!

Photobucket

Okay, here she is being naughy... she is trying to stand up in the tub... she thinks it is hilarious when I tell her not to.
Photobucket

Photobucket

She loves this bee
Photobucket

Photobucket

She especially loves it when I say "bzzzzzzz" when she shakes it around.
Photobucket

It has been a good weekend. Can you see our new tile in the tub? Much nicer!

Pumpkin Patching again...

Last Thursday Joel and I took Addie to Wells Orchard with my mom and nephew, Kristopher... sorry for the lag in posting, Addie has been sick, but we'll get back to that.

Here is Addie on a giant pumpkin, with Kristopher. This was the beginning of her being sick, so you can see how excited she is to be there.

We did the corn maze this year, here is Addie and my mom

An actual smile!

All done!

Last year it was fun to put her on the hay bails... here she is on the mouse this year.

She wasn't so thrilled about a family picture....

She loves holding the leash for Elsie

Another smile!

She really liked riding in this little cart.

And the jug head scare crow!

Can't forget to have Elsie in the picture!

Another try in front of the spider.

And ANOTHER smile!

I think that was literally all the smiles of the evening, poor thing :(

*********************************************************

We took her to the med center on Friday night, and found out she has Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Not really sure why it is called a "disease" but whatever. We are 100% positive that this is the worst sickness she has had to date. Usually when she is sick she is just a little crabby and tired, but not this time. She refuses to sleep in her bed, she will only sleep on top of me. This is exhausting to say the least. This weekend Joel was working so it was pretty much just me. All in all, a pretty crummy birthday weekend for me. We think she is feeling better, she ate some today (including TWO puddings courtesy of Daddy) I think it is supposed to clear up 3-7 days after it starts, and if we count Thursday she still has a few more days.

Today we also had to cancel her follow up to the Endocrinologist at DeVos because she was sick, so we are back on the waiting list for that.

I think that's all the updates for today, next time I should have a couple pudding pictures from tonight, I didn't feel like loading them. And Thursday Addie has her 18 month check up, so I am excited to see where her stats are!
