Are you happy?

After seeing my friend Rachel's video of her daughter doing Happy and You know it, I had to teach Addie! Addie picked it up pretty quickly, but never in front of the camera (of course)

I finally decided to get the camera out before we started... sorry, I forgot that I can't have the camera do a portrait shot... so you have to crank your head to the side. I tried to do it again the right way, but it just wasn't as cute after!

Addie does some of the wrong motions... well, most of the time she is doing them wrong, but that is what makes it cute! She LOVE stomping her feet... so she does that the most. And she pats her legs in the clapping part... because I was holding the camera I couldn't clap, so I hit my leg.

Videos Galore!

It would probably be nicer to do a seperate post for every video... but I have time now, so I am just going to post them all now!

This first one is the longest... it is of Addie looking for the squirrels when we were camping. She kept woofing at them, it was so cute!




This one is Addie spinning, her new favorite passtime. I will tell her to dance, and she just starts spinning, she loves it!




This one is of Addie doing peek-a-boo, she actually is kinda hiding behind the wall in this one, but it is still cute. And you also get to see her infatuation with the camera... you should all be amazed I am able to get any pictures of her!



One more!

This one is a little long also, it is Addie playing with Elsie. I was trying to get one of her dancing, but all she wanted to do was play with Elsie. She thinks it is funny when Elsie licks her and growls at her. We don't know why she thinks the growling is funny, but she gets a hoot out of it!

In other news! We are starting our sock animal blog again! We thought it would be a better way to introduce animals we are putting on our site than just expecting people to remember to check it out! Raptor!

We have decided Addie walks like a raptor. I base this completely on Jurassic Park.... Here are a couple pictures of her walking...

I am 9 weeks pregnant now, here's what's happening this week:

• Movement has started (didn't I say that last week?) but I still can't feel it. Although, sometimes I swear I feel something, but I really think it is too early!


• Most joints are formed now


• Harvey has his or her own fingerprints!


• Harvey now enjoys playing with things, mainly fingers and toes.


• Harvey is now about .9" and weighs .07 of an oz.


• Harvey is no longer an embryo and is now a fetus... but really, who cares, he or she has been a baby all along!
  
  

I have been still feeling tired and nauseous, I thought it was getting better, but not so. It isn't that horribly bad though, it could definately be worse!

I have been taking belly pictures... but am not ready to post them here yet! Maybe when I am less fat looking, and more pregnant looking!

Also, I have my first doctor's appointment on Monday! I am SO excited, counting down the days! I say 4 more days, but downer Joel says 5, whatever, I count down the way I want! Anyways, praying we will be able to hear the heartbeat, when I was 10 weeks along with Addie we were not able to hear it, there is only a 50% chance, so cross your fingers!

Oh! I have some sock animal news! Julie and I recently went to a local store, Hopscotch (http://www.hopscotchstore.com/), to show them our sock animals, and they LOVED them! We didn't expect it, but they bought several on the spot! And they want more! We are so excited about it, and will also be very busy!

Addie finally took some steps today! I missed the first ones, she took 4 right in a row, so I grabbed my camera, and got these! Sorry, it is sideways, I always forget that I can't flip it like a picture!

She's Growing up!

New milestone for Addie! Tonight Joel and I and Addie were in the kitchen. Then I looked at Addie, and she was in the middle of the kitchen, STANDING! She has never stood up on her own without pulling herself up on something. I quickly ran to get the camera, but of course, she was sitting by the time I got back. BUT, she started doing it all night! She is so proud of herself! I took a couple videos and put them together so you would only have to look at one.

Just for kicks!

I have a doctor's appointment today, so I am excited about that, and tonight we are going to go to finish registering, it will be nice to have that all done.

Since I don't have a lot to write about, I thought I would post this. I have been trying to see the baby kick by looking at my stomach, which I never seem to get good timing on, but I have seen it. Well, Joel says he can't tell between the kicking and my breathing, so I thought I would try to record it with my camera. I got it on the first try, it took only 10 seconds, which is shocking since it always takes forever to see. Anyways, here is the video, it is only a couple seconds long, and I really feel like my belly button is huge!
