On Monday we went to Chuck E Cheese for a Halloween party with a bunch of friends. We thought it would be fun to dress up the kids and have some fun!
Here is a picture of the whole group, thanks Erin! Addie was pretty crabby to have to sit for the picture...
Addie's favorite part was riding in this car with Chuck E Cheese.
The beads are not a part of her costume, she just LOVES bead necklaces right now!
Addie wandered around most of the time. Her friend Jack found her and gave her a hug
Can you believe Jack is only 4 days older? He is so much taller!
And a kiss
She wanted to get away! I don't think she is ready for boys yet.
Addie liked to look at the prizes behind the glass
When we got home I put the head of the costume on (she wouldn't wear it at Chuck E Cheese)
My little lamby
She wouldn't wear it long at home either! She likes to walk Elsie around on the leash.
Lately she has been climbing on the couch, and pulling a blanket over her, it is super cute.
I think we are going to be retiring that gray outfit... several people called Addie a boy when she wore it :( I think she looks like a girl!
On Wednesday we went with a couple friends to Laptime at the library. I thought it would be nice to take Addie somewhere fun during the day! I thought she would love it because she loves music and books.
Here are Easton the penguin and Avery the ladybug in their costumes
Addie was a cling-on to my leg for the beginning (which is par for the course) then she ventured away....
Addie liked to look in the bins with the books
and the crayons... they were supposed to decorate a bag so we could trick or treat through the library.
Here are Kami and Easton
Easton wanted to eat a crayon
Addie didn't want to color with crayons, or on her bag, so here she is filling out the feedback form.
We tried (emphasis on tried) to get a group picture of the kids.
Avery didn't want to be in the picture! (Addie looks like she didn't want to either!)
I bribed Addie with the fruit snacks we got in our trick or treating through the library, otherwise she would NOT sit!
Oops! Sorry Easton!
I think Addie's expression is hilarious in this one!
They are at least all IN this picture... again, what is Addie doing?
Here I was trying to get her to wear her hat... I put it on, she laughed, then I put it on her.... but she was too quick to take it off
Addie loves babies... especially poking their faces...
In the library they have a big stuffed lion, Addie loved it!
Whene we left the library we saw a lady with a big dog (looked like a german shepherd only way bigger) and Addie ran right up to it to try to pet it!!!!! I think she thought it was stuffed like the lion! The dog went right at her to sniff her face... shockingly she didn't freak out, like she normally does when big dogs come at her. I wanted to take a picture, but I thought the dog owner might thing I was a weirdo... and I can't really argue with that :)
