One week old!

How cute is this little peanut?

Just wanted to share a pic quick! And brag a little :) I fit into my normal pants today! They are still a little snug, but better than maternity pants! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Tootsie's here!!!

I wanted to let you know I had the baby :) I am super tired, so this is going to be short.

Adelaine Lucielle was born at 7:45 this morning, weighing 4 lbs. 8.5 oz. and 18.5" long. We only got to hold her for a little bit, and then she went off to NICU because of a bunch of little things, but overall she is healthy. Unfortunately, I still have to stay in bed and won't be able to see her for 24 hours, but Joel can visit her.

My mom is bringing over my camera cord, so I will work on getting a pic up as soon as I can.

We beat the system...

or so says Joel...

He was so proud of us today saying we beat the system. Yesterday we were supposed to take a breastfeeding class, but obviously were unable to make it, and when I told the nurse, the teacher of the breastfeeding class came up here and brought all the materials, and they brought some videos to watch, and she is coming up later to help me with positions to hold the baby. Joel is so happy he didn't have to sit through the class, or pay for it and we got all the info, he is so funny! We also never signed up for a childbirth class, and they brought us a couple dvds about what to expect there, it was pretty informational. I feel a little better seeing it all and learning more. Now I just have to get through all the books Jen brought, then I should be an expert!
I guess I don't have a whole lot more to post, and they just put me on the monitor so it is kinda hard to type. And they just took my blood pressure, which was high again :( (159/101) so I should probably just lay down and rest...
