I know where Santa ISN'T coming this year!

Addie was obsessed with baths this week, she would run to the bathroom door and pound on it until we opened it, then she would try to get in the tub.

Here she is when the tub is filling up.


Her new "game" is to get all the toys on one side of the tub

She is also obsessed with drinking the tub water... anything that has water on it she tries to suck the water off... gross! Here she is licking the water on her face after splashing....


And being naughty trying to stand up in the tub.. she LOVES being naughty lately!

Saturday we went to see Santa, so we get all dressed up!


Didn't go so well...

And she even wore her beads! We might try again later and arm ourselves with candy for bribing..

Addie also loves to FILL her shoping cart to the brim! I think she could spend hours moving things back and forth from the shopping cart to the toy box.

"Addie is AMAZING"

These are the words the endocrinologist said to me at Addie's follow up appointment yesterday! It was wonderful. Luckily we didn't have to wait long, and the appointment went pretty quickly.

Addie is now 21.4 lbs and 31.25"!!!!! Yahoo! She is in the 10th percentile for weight, and the 25th for height.

I just realized I never updated from her 18 month appointment!!!! Oops.... (she was 22 lbs 2 oz and 32" tall, I think these are off, obviously, or she shrunk!)

Anyways, here is her growth chart and why, she is, in fact, amazing!


The endocrinologist thinks she DEFINATELY does not have growth horemone deficiency! She thinks it definately had something to do with her kidney reflux and that she was spitting up so much. So, good news all around!

Actually, I just wanted to show off these super cute bath towels I got... they are actually supposed to be Christmas presents for her, but I couldn't wait! I only bought them so I could figure out how to make them. I am going to make some new ones... anyone have a good rec. on super soft towels?

She is also finally starting to talk more. She is a stubborn little thing! Last week she finally said "mama" TO me! She said it before, but only in a babbling way. She is also saying Grandma (meemaw), we think she says Doggy, she says Ella, and supposedly she said "baby" today... and the old standbys of "boo" and "uh oh" Last week she said "no" it was SO cute... no repeat on that one though!

Leaves and Visits

Last weekend I was outside cleaning the garage and Addie found this little tricycle in the garage, she wanted to play with it SO bad, so I let her, and she took it out in the middle of the lawn to watch the neighbor burn leaves!








She tried to ride over the barrier I put across the driveway (because our driveway is slightly downhill) Stinker!


Then she just decided to walk to the road! Double stinker! Good thing we are on a dead end!


Looks like we'll never have to get a lawn service, Addie loves the mower!



She found our double stroller on the ground (folded up) and climbed in! I think she was in the basket...

Last week we also went to visit Addie's great grandma, it had been too long, and Addie wanted to show off her costume more!

Great grandma has TONS of stuff for Addie to explore!

Addie is officially done with the pacifier!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! I really thought we would have a super hard time getting rid of it because she was a pipey girl through and through. But when she got sick with hand, foot, and mouth, her mouth hurt and she couldn't suck on it, so we just took it away, and it hasn't phased her a bit! Yahoo!

Halloween '08

I am just going to be honest, there are A LOT of pictures following here.... I hope you have a good chunk of time set aside :) And feel free to comment on all the cuteness!

I have been trying to get Addie to wear the head to her costume ever since she got it... she must have known it was Halloween because she FINALLY wore it!!!!!!

She likes to sit at the table on the big chairs... I was making dinner...


Apparently she loves BUTTER!


Well, the butter container, at least.


She is being naughty standing on the chair... but again... was being SO cute!






I accidentally let her see me put some pudding away... how could I say no to this face?

This is from today. Addie and I went to the mall. I told her we were going, and she went and got my old purse, she loves carrying it around... even though it is WAY too big!
