I got my ultrasound report back from last week, and everything is looking great! She measured one day behind... which is not a surprise! haha! At the time she weighed 9oz... probably about the same as Addie, I had my ultrasound a week later with her, and she weighed 10 oz. Little Bug measured around the 37th percentile for her age. Prayers answered :) AND Thursday, we will be half way done with this pregnancy! Ahhhh!!! Where is the time going?

Stubborn Little Bug!

We had our "big" ultrasound! Big, because it is really the only standard ultrasound they do for normal pregnancies. With Addie, at this point, we had only had one, but this time it is our THIRD! This is a big one though, because we could have the opportunity to find out the gender!

Head on... a little alien-ish, but still adorable :)


BIG yawn! It was so fun to see! Baby was drinking amniotic fluid a lot, so we got to see lots of movement in the face. (see the little tongue sticking out at the bottom of the mouth?)

This is what we saw a lot of, legs tightly clenched together... NOT helpful in gender identification! I have looked at a LOT of ultrasound pictures, and NEVER saw any with the legs straight out like this... refusing to move!


"Nah, Nah, Na-boo-boo! I am not showing you!"


We really thought that they were going to send us home without finding out :( But we got a great ultrasound tech, and she let me go to the bathroom, to see if baby would move, and even after that, she tried for quite some time... then....

FINALLY!!!!


We also found out that she was transverse, which means that she is laying sideways, with her head on the right, and legs on the left. Based on my feeling of kicks, I suspected that :) Heartrate was 156... I *think* that it what it was for Addie at that time... but I can't remember for sure!

Pool Party!!!!!! For one?

I finally got Addie a little pool! Here is the first day she got to try it out! She saw it, and we thought she would just test it with her hands... but she hopped right in!!!














She liked to throw things overboard!








She got so wet we took her dress off (don't ask me why she had shorts on underneath!) She is obsessed with her belly, she always sucks it in, and pokes at it!

She loves Elsie's toys in the pool!

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Addie has the "Bee Bop Band"... she loves to use the drum as a hat. And here, she even has a little bee from a Bible School I did to Bzzzzzzzzz with!

After she was done with the drum/hat, she wanted to share her bee with Elsie











Best friends :) When Addie is by Elsie I can never get her to look at the camera!

Addie Lu at the ZOO!

I got the day off for the 4th of July, so we decided to head to the zoo! We hadn't been since last year, and have been wanting to, so we thought this would be a great opportunity!

My favorite are the flamingos :)



Addie liked them too


Here she is yelling something at them... I am sure she was yelling "ducks" or something!


We think Addie's favorites were the wallabees... it was hard to pull her away from them. Do you see the baby in this Mom's pouch? (It's leg is hanging out, and you can see it's face)


Addie wanted to crawl in to see them... none of them came out though :(





She was GLUED!








We finally got her away, and found a train play thing... she liked it a lot!!!
(last time we were at the zoo we TOTALLY MISSED this whole section!)






Addie's second favorite part of the zoo was the petting zoo. She is definately not afraid of any animals!











She likes to get right in their faces to say hi!




















She liked this chicken too....





But it wasn't very friendly... it kept pecking at her! Luckily she thought it was funny.


She loves walking... I don't know why I bring her stroller!

The she grabbed the edge and rammed Joel's head into it!!!! We thought she was going to try to dive in, so we had to move on.
