5 years ago today....

New Table!

I decided months ago I wanted to make a table for Addie! I just couldn't find one large enough at a price that I could justify... so I thought it would be a better idea to just make one! So, a few months ago, I got all of the pieces and stained them... well, my mom stained them, and I helped out a bit. I just couldn't do it with being pregnant and all! So, thanks for the help Mom!

I bought the chairs first... already made, and wanted to match the stain... it was harder than I thought! It doesn't match exactly, but I think it is close enough.

Addie and the puppy

Our neighbor, Reese, got a puppy recently. Addie LOVES Hailey, the puppy.

Here is when Reese brought the puppy over for a visit.

I had my infant carseat out to lend to a friend... and Addie loved climbing in the seat! I didn't get any pictures of that... but when I took the seat off the base, she loved that too!

Here we are outside.... our neighbor girl got a new puppy, and was going to let Addie pet it when she sat in the chair... Addie was so excited!

Labor Day Weekend

We decided to actually get out of the house for the weekend.... instead of working MORE on the basement! It was nice to get out! We went to my parents' boat on Labor Day.

Kristopher really wanted to take Addie for a dinghy ride... she WOULD NOT go... that is... until she saw Daddy get in! So we life jacketed her up, and off they went!

Addie DID NOT want to get out! She loved to go on a "boat wide"


Kristopher and Joel wanted to go in the kayaks for a bit, so we hung out on the lawn. My mom gave Addie some of her tea... which Addie LOVED!








She looks like such a big girl in this picture.


She loved pushing this dozer around... but she couldn't figure out how to steer it, and kept going in circles!
